Naturalmente, nós CNXC não poderíamos ficar indiferente a este desafiante projecto. Assim, estamos neste momento a estudar a melhor forma de o implementarmos em Portugal, no sentido de levarmos o xadrez por correspondência ao maior número possível de escolas e alunos portugueses.
Neste sentido, vimos pedir a todos aqueles que, de alguma forma, estejam ligados ao ensino (professores, alunos, funcionários, etc) e que desejem colaborar nesta iniciativa, o favor de contactarem o responsável da CNXC - Pedro Soberano jpsoberano@netcabo.pt - para que, em conjunto, possamos delinear estratégias de acção.

Assunto: ICCF Schools Prototype Webserver Competition
Dear friends,
As was discussed and agreed at the Dresden Congress I am now
pleased to attach details of the Schools Prototype Webserver
Tournaments which will be held between schools from countries
in the Northern Hemisphere. The participating countries are
as listed in the Dresden Minutes (item 28, Internal Matters)
and each of these countries is now cordially invited to play.
The start of these tournaments has been arranged to coincide
with the start of a new school year starting after the summer
holidays in 2007 and conclude before the 2009 holiday period.
It was necessary to wait until some webserver system changes,
before we could announce the launch of this new competition.
The progress of this prototype event will be evaluated and if
it proves to be successful, then schools tournaments will be
initiated to embrace schools from all ICCF member countries.
It is very important for participating countries/delegates to
contact prospective schools quickly and obtain their entries.
Names of schools/school contact details, should be sent to me
as soon as possible ie well before the closing date 30/6/2007.
